Blackdot raises awareness for the Women's & Girls' Emergency Centre

On 22 November, Blackdot participated in a game of Fast 5 Netball to raise awareness and stop violence against women for the Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre (WAGEC).
Domestic Violence is one of the most widespread, persistent and devastating human rights violations in today’s society, which often remains unreported due to the impunity, stigma and shame that surrounds it. WAGEC – a non-government and not-for-profit organisation delivers a range of crisis and early intervention support, including accommodation to families who are affected.
Blackdot was proud to have participated in a game of netball – one of the most popular team sports for women of all ages in Australia to raise awareness and build recognition for such a worthy cause.
